Tim Landers

    I saw Tim Landers backing a Romania pan flute player on a PBS special. He was not playing his Pedulla, but a spalted maple bass which looked something like a Fender Jazz. Anyone know what it was?
     
  2. hey - I know this was posted long ago but I just saw it. that bass was a prototype instrument that I was working on with Jack Wilson, formerly of Peavey and pres of The Bass Company. He also made the first Lightwave basses. It is a 5 string J bass type with pups designed and made by the Tune bass guy (sorry, can't remember his name). it's a bolt on maple with a flame veneer top. nice bass. wish Jack had made more of them.
