Tim Lefebvre OD sound??

    I hate heaters!
    I don't know that much about bass overdrive or distortion sounds and was wondering if someone could point me to what effect Tim Lefebvre could have used in this video at 3:50 min to get this awesome sound.

    I going to say either a OC-2/or 3 into a distortion pedal like a Rat or Wooly Mammoth/Mastotron fuzz.

    Definetly either the OC2 or MXR Bass Octave Deluxe.
    I know he uses Moollon pedals for his distortion generally, the BassDrive and Lotus Octave being especially choice for Tim.

    I'm always impressed with players using pedals in such musical way. As intended, effects sound like extension of Tim.

    I'm pretty certain that I've heard that he's recently become a big fan...and my bet is that he's using a You're Doom pedal...
