  1. It's so abnormally sunny today that I decided to take some pictures of my basses (they are a wee lil dirty, but I'm too lazy to fix that:ninja:):

First up, my Fender Jazz 24:cool::

    020.
    021.
    022.
    023.
    024.

And my latest addition, my Fender Jazz from 1978:cool::
    015.
    016.
    017.
    018.
    019.

And one last shot of them together:
    025.

Love the 78 jazz man, especially the hazing under the poly finish. Gives it a bit of character. :bassist: Its got that Marcus miller vibe going on.

I have always wanted a 1978 jazz since that is my birth year :p would be pretty cool having a bass the same age as me.

  5. awesome

They're both beautiful, in different ways. Love the quilted maple, I have an Ibanez Montage with that finish (guitar), but for pure class, the '78 is a winner. Blocks and binding beat 24 frets reguardless of finish. Nice stuff.

Now they are two sweet J's. Modern and vintage, love it!
