Many of us are constantly checking our expenses and putting aside money for a purchase. Anyone saving up for a new bass? (Pictures extremely welcome).

As for me, I don't plan on getting anything soon, i got my musicman sterling a little under a year ago and its doing great, but i have always wanted a musicman and a warwick, ever since i started. Im halfway there. Im hopefully going to aquire a warwick dolphin pro I 4 string sometime in the future, as it is my warwick of choice right now. Theres always part of me that wants a pre 98 bolt on thumb though. We'll see what the future brings, but even if it wont be my main gigging bass (sterling does the job) I dont think i will be complete until i have a Warwick.

What am I saving up for?

Except all this GAS keeps getting in the way. Should be trying a Fodera or two in the next month or so. Probably a bad idea to try them I would think. :bassist:

  3. Just gathering together the last bit to pay off my BTB that's on hold, then the painfully long process of saving up for a Thumb 5 begins. :)

Bergie NV425, i think. I've got the cash, just waiting to see if my girlfriend's school internship will be renewed for next semester, because if it's not, I'll have to help with her part of the rent and what not.

I owe one more payment on this... Ready in the new year:

And after that, I'm saving for a 1210, and a 1212 Schroeder... probably in the new year also. Also in the new year, we're saving to put out our 2nd and 3rd album.

In the next 5 years? A Nord SC 6 string, new computer, and maybe a vintage Fender or Sadowsky.

Well, to my ears the 210 sounded better than the 410xlt I had when used alone. I'm sure you'll dig it though. Now if I could just make up my mind...Schroeder.......Boogie......Schroeder.....hmmmm. my brain hurts.

I would like a modulus fretless q5 and a ric sometime in the near future, but right now I'm saving for a aguilar gs112.
  18. -Warmoth P bodied J necked project.
    -Conklin GTBD-7 in natural
-White Gibby Tbird (will tradein my current one with cash)
-Making the aforementioned Tbird a fretless :D

Thats pretty much it for now. I too would like a pre 98 Thumb bolt on with emgs. I think, once I play one of those Stingray double bucks, Ill be saving up for one of those, cause if they can get sounds anything like the Bongo's, im in for sure.
  19. Lakland JO5, then probably a fretless of some sort.
