    thx-

yeah they are a bit smooth. but disregard the genre and listen to Jimmy. great walking lines and fantazmik dynamics! it's worth a listen at least.

Haslip, like Keith Horne is a lefty playing a righty bass upsidedown and plays better than most standard righties! The Yellowjackets are an unbelievable band. Very high virtuostic musicianship! Haslip is Puertorican and is deep into Latin Jazz music as his solo outings suggest and convey. He also has one of the most beautiful fretless tones I've ever heard! Almost 'haunting' like!

I picked up Time Squared when it was first released...I like it, I just don't play it a lot.
The new drummer(Marcus Baylor) is pretty decent, too.
William Kennedy was really perfect for that band.

I would say Club Nocturne bordered on the "Smooth" side of the house.
