well, what do you guys think your new years resolutions will be? for me its the following:

practice practice practice! all state jazz band tryouts are january the 20th and my director and i plan on me doing well, at least making the alternate band (which is like 2nd chair so to speak)

continue losing weight. over the past 6 months i've lost about 50 pounds, i went from 265 to 215. my goal is to get under 200.

keep academics up. i plan on attending the USC honors college next year and want to keep everything going well so that i make a smooth transition into it.

figure out the great mystery we men call "girls". eh, won't happen, but i can hope! ive had plenty of girlfriends and all, but i still know little to nothing about their strange ways!

    so lets hear them!
  2. I would like to try and not order in food so much.
I hate cooking meals...especially with my long hours...by the time i get home i hate standing by the stove for an hour cooking something. So i usually order out. Probally about 5 times a week.
    It gets expensive... :p

Id like to get alot more playing in this year as well...

Try and finnish some of the novels im half way through would also be something else on my 'To do' list.

I set my sights low. That way, when I exceed them, I can act all high and mighty and/or surprised.

Like, not having chocolate for a week (something I don't have for months at a time anyway).

    Or not setting forrest fires.

    Easy stuff.
  4. 2004 : Allodox, the new era ( stage 1 )

    - get a new job
    - get the " Allodox mansion "(tm), still living with my parents at the moment.. time to settle down on my own.
    - get a girlfr.. eh.. nah, nm that one
    - 130 kg --> <100 kg

    2005 : Allodox, the next era ( stage 2 )
    2006 : Allodox, imperatore del vuoto ( stage 3 )

    • Loose the 5 kg I gained last year after I quit smoking 15 months ago
    • A steady relationship would be nice - or at least getting laid more often :D
    • Practice more, especially playing jazz and advanced theory
  6. Same with me. Like, I plan on staying alive for another year.....should be able to achieve that goal. :)

Truthfully, I don't make New Year's Resolutions. I feel guilty if I fail (and I normally do) so what's the point?????

I'll try and do all the stuff next year I said I was gonna do this year.
  13. It's kind of a long story but in my room i have my amp against the wall that also borders the kitchen where my mom has her shotglass collection on display. Over this past year i've been playing my bass and knocked 7 shotglasses off the rack with the vibration. My new years resolution is to try to keep from breaking anymore. I doubt it will work because i get into a song and keep turning it up until i hear a crack then realize how loud it is but i'm going to give it an honest effort.
  14. Pass Year 12 with the hope of getting 85+ ENTER score to get into uni

Get a good mark for year 12 music which by no means will be easier

    Practise more

Get a job to get money to uprage PC and bass gear

    Get a girlfriend

well thats about...hopefully all should happen
