Scenario: A while back I met a good looking girl, went out a few times... yada yada yada... about the 2 1/2 week mark I tell her that we need to cool things off because I'm just not sure if this is what I'm looking for... She's persistent and keeps pushing that we hang out... Being the friendly guy, and the fact that we were only into this thing a couple weeks (not too much invested), I say OK... 3 days later I meet her work friend... most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on (I'm not easily impressed)... I start chatting with her here and there, nothing too forward, but I wasn't about let this rare one (the Golden Buffalo) out of scope because I briefly dated her work friend that I just happened to meet before her... Girl I dated turns out to be a bit on the crazy attached side and of course freaks out that I would talk to her friend and invite her to a show... 2 1/2 weeks, c'mon! 2 1/2 weeks may eliminate best bosom buddies for a time but not entire outer circle of work friends that may occasionally hang after work. The Golden Buffalo is nice and seems open to me, but (as fate would have it) barely getting through a divorce... timing is my curse yet again. Fast forward 2 years. I'm engaged (my fiance is beautiful and a great companion) and occasionally I see the Golden Buffalo around town... Both us seem to have that slight "Timing is everything" glance at each other and walk on by...
Haha, first I wouldn't call a woman a "buffalo." But yes, timing is everything. I can't tell you how many women I've known over the years in which there was a mutual attraction, but in which our singledom never matched up - either I was in a relationship when she was single or I was single when she was in a relationship. Very frustrating! lol
did the golden buffalo say hi and you thought about leaving ur fiance? also I've always heard the term used as "White Buffalo" and don't let her hear you calling her buffalo.
While white buffalo may seem the more common nomenclature... She's Asian, so I figured I'd go with Golden Buffalo... ha ha There is no chance of me leaving my fiance. I take solace in fantasizing that it would have been one of those tumultuous affairs that is never as functional as both people need... ha ha. I know my fiance is functional, hence I put a ring on it!
