From what I can remember from a old BP issue Tina "Weymouth" used: a Hofner 500/2 Club Bass, a P, a J, a mustang, a musicmaster, steinberger [i think] and some other black bass that she had custom made but I can't remember by who.

She used The Hofner and the Pbass [she also used this bass for the rock’n’roll HOF induction] for most of the recordings. The Jazz came later, from more the “Heads” project era. Also both her P and J are either refinished or painted over with gray car primer.

She's changed basses over the years. She also played a Mustang, a Gibson Les Paul recording model, a Veilette-Citron and a Steinberger during different phases of her career.

On the "Stop Making Sense" Video she plays a Pedulla for much of the show, and that beautiful classic Hofner.

That's not a Pedulla, it's a Veilette Citron Custom Standard.
