Tinting alder help

    Ok, so here's my plan: I've got an unfinished alder precision body from warmoth. I'm going to finish it with Tru-oil.

    My question is: how much darkening/ambering to the alder will occur with tru-oil?

    I don't want to tint the body if there will be a decent amount of darkening. I'm going for a vintage natural look.

    The neck pocket and control cavity (if still raw wood) are places to experiment.
