    So it's finally happened. After a lot of drama we all just hit our boiling point and parted ways with our singer the door. Without going into a lot of detail about the drama and how it happened (I've read a ton of these on here - and you can pretty much take bits and pieces from the some of them and you've got our story), I'm starting the process of replacing our vocalist. Were a fairly established jam band that plays originals and covers from a wide range of styles (funk, reggae, bluegrass, blues, punk, ska, blues), and we're pretty open minded about whether or not he (pretty certain that we want male vocals) plays an instument (our last vocalist would occasionally play the mandolin and guitar as accompanyment). As soon as we finalize the details with our last singer (buying him out of the PA and cashing him out etc) I'll be posting our search on MySpace and putting a flyer at the local studios bulletin boards. Here's what I need advice on:

    1. Where else to post our search, online and elsewhere?
    2. Tips and suggestions for auditioning the new singer
    3. Best way

    Here are some links to our band's music if it helps;

    Thanks in advance...

  2. Believe it or not... karaoke bars are a pretty good place to find some untapped talent.
