Tips for selling an amp

    Hey everybody,

    So i bought a 1001-rb and 410 rbh - yay!
    Now after a few month noticed i still have my old amp, and it ain't doin nofin!

    Its a peavey, this one:

    I have a few questions:

    1) should i try and sell it on here or ebay... i mean i always considered you guys to be interested in the "better" gear (i think it is not)

    2) How do i send it (i live in the uk) whats the best way to send it. If i sell it.

    3) About what price should i try and sell it for? (£ please)

    4) What else should i say... i mean i loved it as a starter amp, should i try and flog it as that?

    I'd try sell it locally...maybe even trade it in for other gear if you're so inclined. Try Craigslist or Kijiji (if you have a local one). If that doesn't work after a while, then I'd try shipping it.

    really random question p7 but hows the new amp i want to get a 700rb or 1001rb with the same cab but want to now first hand wot they are like ? pm me back rather than to distract from your thread if you want man

    Hey dude don't mind,

    Very very nice.

    And by coincidence, i have a flea bass four string. Yeah the amp is by far a great amp especially if you go by cost compared with others (mesa boogie etc)

    You won't be disappointed... not at all. i've now lived with it for 4 months and i still feel it is amazing.


    Very very very nice... though i need some money for some more effects etc so selling the old one as it don't even get a look in!

    So with the "westwood" part of your user name i guess your in england (why westwood!?), how you getting your flea bass and where you thinking of getting gk gear from?

    Out of curiosity...
