I'd like to build myself a bass and so I would appreciate some advice on cost, time it would take and what type of parts i should buy.
I want to make a fretless 4 or 5 string
Any other advice would be welcome
    Thanks a lot,

    Janas,

Check out the Luthiers Forum here at TalkBass... Lots of great info there:

As for cost, time, etc. that will depend on you and how much or how little you plan on doing... A multi-layer body is going to cost more and take more time to make than say a body made of solid alder..
