hey guys my band Black Lady Soul just dropped our new video and after listening to the tone and the line itself, I'm not sure how i feel about my approach. Figured i could get some insight here, is the line itself too much? is the tone fitting? You know we always want that perfect sound

I recorded my Lakland Skyline 44-60 strung with flats through DI and a mic'd Mesa Walkabout 1x12 combo amp

It's an original song. Your approach and tone are fine.
Unless you or your audience doesn't like it.

If you were coping a specific genre
with a well trodden traditional bass approach
You might get more constructive advice

but for original tunes, only you and the audience can judge.
