We must counter the ongoing War On Tuna Noodle Casserole lead by no-good you know who! Membership is free and encouraged. Please help us in this holy quest. Thank you.

But, if this is a HOLY quest, in whose name is it holy? Christ, Islam, L. Ron Hubbard, Billy Graham, Dr. King, Martin Luther? You'll have to anoint a holy leader before I can sign on, unless of course he's Carl Sagan or Neils Degrasse Tyson or Christopher Hitchens, in which case: you lead, I follow! ;)

Not only Neil but no less than Bill Nye AND Ken Ham. Yes, even some sane people love TNC!

And let's give props to the ever classic TUNA MELT!

Many times have I ducked into a greasy spoon after a gig and ordered one of these scrumdeli-ishus snacks!

Too true! I used to have lunch with my staff once a week at the diner they selected and... the tuna melt is what I ordered EVERY SINGLE BLOODY TIME! Really, I'm more imaginative when it comes to music than food. But... I miss my tuna melt... whimper... whimper... It had cheese!! and butter!!

I haven't had tuna noodle casserole in years. Reminds me of potluck dinners as a kid. I sure would like some.

My other 1/2 thinks hot tuna is an abomination.

Every time my wife and I go to a diner, she always asks: " You're not going to order the Tuna Melt, are you?"

    Of course I do........on principle.

I'd like to thank Mom, the Academy, Charlie The Tuna, and most of all Slobake, for making this possible. :D

Okay, so now, tell me, honestly, how you feel about tuna sushi?

Fair warning: I've read a couple of books on the fishing industry and from an ecological perspective I'm against tuna consumption but from a foodie's perspective, I LOVE me some tuna sushi! What's a foodie-ecologist to do? Can you make tofu taste like raw tuna?

  18. I like making a box of Mac and Cheese and adding a can of tuna and a small can of peas. It smells like Tarzan's loin cloth.

My son won't touch it. Calls it Train Wreck.

I suspect that your son has all of his olfactory nerves functioning, and... because of all the coke or meth, you don't. That's not to say that Tuna Mac & Cheese isn't good, it just explains why your boy has better taste than you. ;)

Sushi is from blue fin tuna. Blue fin is becoming endangered.
Canned tuna is albacore. Albacore is not endangered so we can eat all the TNC and melts with clear conscience.
