to refinish or not to refinish..

    that is the question.

    I am thinking about refinishing by ibanezATK300 bass from natural to purple sparkle.

    just simple yay or nay.

    That purple sparkle would be amazing if you matched the headstock with it! DO IT!!!
  10. Not purple...there are other much more attractive colors.

    Expect to spend 40+ hours if you want to do a first-class job.

  16. I voted no. Natural ATKs look ace, FACT.

    I don't know the circumstances surrounding your playing and what you do it for, but a purple sparkle bass will make you less employable... mind you if it's what you want to do then do it.

    I think the purple looks good on it. I agree with do the headstock too. The only thing that bugs me is the chrome bridge pick up cover Gold would look better but that doesn't seem to be an option

    PS I have a purple (no sparkle) Fernandes with gold hardware that looks great
