i have a warwick corvette proline, and like most warwicks the body and neck have a natural kind of finish. i have heard recommendations to wax the body and neck to prevent the wood from drying out, but the guy at the music store said it was not necessary. what do y'all say?

Warwicks are shipped w/ an oil/wax finish which should protect the wood perfectly for some time...
You only need to clean it and reapply wax when you see visible stains on the wood.
Warwick offers small cans with the same wax they use in their factory, but any other brand should be fine also.

Welcome to the board, btw :)

If your Warwick is brand new, it should had come with a gigbag and a small jar of wax. See their site for more info,
