Anybody tried a Toadworks Mr Ed distortion pedal?

I tried a search, but Mr and Ed are both too short  A search for Toadworks only comes up with Mr Squishy.

Number one, does it work with bass, or does it suck all the low frequencies out?

The Toadworks claims seem too good. Everything from subtle blues to metal in one pedal? Does it really not distort if you play quietly?

And is it predominately an overdrive or distortion pedal? i.e. Is it an overdrive pedal that can do subtle distortion or is it a distortion pedal with no fat/clean tone?

Yeah, it works pretty good. There's a bit of low end loss, but it's not too severe. It does have a pretty broad range of OD/distortion, and it cleans up nicely too (less so with an active preamp, though). All in all , it's a nice pedal. If you need this type of effect, then I highly recommend it.
