    Okay, here's the dealio.

I might have a potential Ampeg SVT 810 cabinet coming my way, but it's all in pieces. I'd need to re-cover the wood on the thing; but I've never done it before and I'm at a loss for actions.
    • What should I use to cover it up? Tolex, Duratex?
    • Are there any tutorials on how to properly glue it / cover it / cut it?
    • How much do I need (yards)?
    • Where should I buy it from to get the best price?
    Thanks in advanced!

How does he get that carpet to be seamless on the top? I'm baffled.

Actually, wait. I get the wraparound thing, but how do they carpet the back of the cab seamlessly too?

3 yards of tolex will do the trick I did it to my svt 1540he which is the same size as the 8x10. i did both sides and then used one from the top to the bottom down the middle.

Okay- this is what's confusing me. In the photo, it's like a mindfoop.

How do you wrap it around? Are there two individual pieces of carpet?

That's one piece of carpet - the seam is on the bottom middle. You can see it.
