    Hoo boy. Just heard the track "Bad Stuff" on my Sirius. Ugonna Okegwo on bass, Johnathon Blake drums. Smokin'. I think I might buy that one.

    I'm trying to think of something that Tom Harrell's done that hasn't just knocked me out. No luck so far. :D

    Yeah, he's got something special, don't he?

    I was listening to an album he did with George Robert the other day. Not entirely typical for him, but very nice. I agree with you, pretty much not a clinker in his catalogue.

    I play with a trumpet player who's kind of a TH nut, so I play a lot of his stuff.

    There's a thread over in the slabs forum about musicians you admire. I posted about Tom, since he deals with **** that's unimaginable to most of us, yet plays some of the most amazing music on the planet. Maybe somebody over there will get it, I dunno. There's a link to a short clip from an interview he did on CBS.

    been mentioned before on these forums, but Jim Hall's 'These Rooms' w/ Tom harrell is an incredible album.
