    Awww heck.
Breakdown is the song that got me loving bass. I remember learning it still.
Full Moon Fever is one of my favourite albums ever. I got the CD as a high school graduation gift.

I appreciated the HB as local heroes, as they maintain a drool-worthy rehearsal space not ten minutes
from where I live in the San Fernando Valley.

This video is shot all over the valley, and the lyrics reference and somewhat mourn encroaching local suburban sprawl.

So sad. I'm sitting here in tears even though I wouldn't be considered a huge fan. I think the Greatest Hits is the only album of his I own. But he was always just there. Ever since I was 8 years old, he was always there. I guarantee I could sing 10 of his songs without looking at a lyric sheet, his music is just that memorable. There will never be another. Feels like I've lost a great friend.

So talented, great career. Way too young. :(

  19. I'm seeing reports now that he is gone. Sad day. First cover my band ever played at an originals show was last dance with Mary Jane about 17 years ago
