tombowlus of Toronto, where are you? Solid State help needed!

I'm looking for somebody to help fix my Bmax locally (Toronto).

BBE has been so kind as to send me a replacement which should arrive this week. But, it's just bugging me that this one is sitting here. I would like to use it as a backup, but first it has to be fixed.

I've just been on the phone with all the local stores, and nobody wants to touch solid state stuff. If I knew more, I'd jump right into it myself.

If somebody has any recommendation I'm all ears. Or if somebody is brave enough in Toronto to give it a shot, it's sitting here willing to go.

Yes, I had thought about sending it back to BBE, but that would cost $80 return to Canada. So I'm hoping that a repair would be less than this. And besides, they're already sending me a new one, I wouldn't want to bother them anymore.
