so i saw a bass body made of canary on the warmoth site; never heard of this before, looks nice, and was wondering if anybody had any input on its tonal characteristics? thanks.

    Talk to DarkMazda.

I turned him onto a Salas made of canarywood. He bought it and he loves it.

Pretty light, I would say. Probably a featherweight. A little on the chirpy side, but keep it out of the coal mines and you'll be fine.

Sorry, Mazda - I thought that was you.

I get many emails and PM's about gear and I guess it was someone else who nailed it from Bassalone.com .

Must be hardening of the arteries or Alzheimers....I remembered we exchanged messages some time ago about nice basses.
