Tonal Versitility on Cort Curbows

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by bassman1185, Feb 2, 2001.

  1. I played a Cort Curbow a week ago, and I really liked it. I didn't get a lot of time to play it, though, and I was wondering what kind of tones you can get out of it. What would you compare the tones to? Thanks.

Since the Cort Curbow pickup is prewired, you cannot have a lot of tonal diversity in the Overall sound area... but the 3 Band EQ lets you dial in many kind of sounds.

I would suggest, if you get a Cort Curbow... to replace the Mighty Mite pickup with a Bartolini 3 Coil or 4 Coil Humbucker and add a coil/wiring selector switch.
    It sounds great.
