Apologies if this has been asked before but how do you all set your bass/rigs up? I have bass/treble on my old Kramer and low/mid/hi on amp - should I set the bass knobs to centre and adjust the amp or vice versa or combo of both? How do you guys adjust? I guess the best way is to set all to centre and just listen!

That is generally the way I do it. After that, any adjustments begin with the pre on the bass. In my case, the mids (with the mid selection switch set at 250 Hz) and highs are boosted slightly on the bass' pre. The pre on my amp, however, still remains flat (centered.)

I start at the centre and then add color as needed. I have also observed that each bass requires different settings. I am probably going to mark those settings on the amp for each bass so I can quickly dial it in when I change basses.
