Tone Factor is Closing

That is a huge bummer. I have nothing but great things to say about Brad and Tone Factor.

 

I'm sure Brad won't be walking away from the pedal industry full stop and I know Mojo Hand will still be being produced.

But yes sad times

That is a bummer. Even bigger downer that their website is having server errors so I can't take advantage of the coupon!

They and Prymaxe are my favourite stores! Great prices and super cheap shipping to Oz.
They were super accomodating when I accidentally bought the wrong item on their eBay store and refunded my money.

 

Yeah this blows, I've ordered from there before and Brad was a super cool dude.

 

It is a brutal, brutal time to be in their line of business. Of course I wish them every good fortune, but grimly, truthfully, I'm not too surprised by the closure. For a small retailer with luxury products, competing in an oversaturated market, being undercut at every turn, it's like being in an underfed raggedy flock of wildebeests with hyenas all around, watching each other get picked off one by one.

 

Harsh times & harsh news. Wish them well though.

 

A luthier friend of mine says in these times, it kinda of hard to sell luxury items, when we don't have money for luxury items.

 

Sad, indeed. It was my favourite on-line store!

 

Kind of a shame, I went there to see what it was and I'm really enjoying looking around there. He has a lot of pedals I haven't seen anywhere else.

 

I echo the sentiments of everyone here. Their service was fantastic, and they had things that nobody else carried. I will miss them dearly.

 

Tone Factor will be missed for sure!

 

Low times in effectsville. Absolutely one of my favorite effects retailers. Vaya con carne, Tonefactor.

 

Brad was great. Very nice folks. Sad news, indeed.

 

Trying to look through the site for any pedals on my wish list, and having all kinds of server problems. Wonder if that's a contributing factor, or maybe just high traffic from the bad news.

 

Excellent take - tough times indeed. They were one of the few etailers that always offered coupons. Thanks Brad.
