Tone Hammer Pedal vs TH 500?

    I had a TH 500 but switched to the GK MB800 because I wanted the head room. I have a Tone Hammer pedal but have always just used it as an active boost for my passive J's. I have grown weary of the GK's tone and would like the warmth of the Aguilar sound. I am thinking of running the TH pedal as a true preamp and trying to achieve the Aguilar TH 500 sound using the power section of the GK. Anyone else use their TH pedal all the time and what is the likelihood I will be able to get that TH 500 tone from it?

    I often use my Tone Hammmer pedal (set to talkbasser eublet's suggested b15 setting) straight into the power amp of my DB750 when playing small venues to get some controllable fatness. Works great. Dunno if it exactly mimics Tonehammer amp.
