Tone Lok Help

    I bought an ibanez pd-7 for £20 +postage of some through a forum it arrived, it worked great. This morning i had problems with it's bypass switch, now it will hardly work, anyone know how to fix it?

    Did you check the battery? If so check the input/ouput jacks and see if anything's loose.

    Hey man 1st and 2nd gen tone lok's have ****e switches... FOr some reason the SB-7s where ok, but everything else was real bad... It may be toast... Sorry bro...

    :bassist: though i'd try a different battery, and amazingly it worked, must a been a bad battery, was worried 'cos i though it was that common switch problem,

    The switches are crap, but those things die suddenly when the battery drops below a certain point. No warning, just death.

    I use mine with an Ibanez brand power adapter, and it's never given me trouble. Sometimes when you stomp it, it doesn't turn on, but you just need to break in the springs a bit and you've got a good switch.
