    A VERY BAD PLACE!
Hi, I'm going to upgrade the pickups on my Jazz bass (VVT) but I noticed the tone pot wiring isn't similar to seymour duncan standard Jazz wiring diagram. Cap is soldered to the middle lug! Should I change it like the diagram?

Cap is soldered to middle lug and red+blue wire is soldered to tip.
    Any help will be appreciated.

I guess it just reverses the direction of knob effect, right?

I don't get it, in my case one leg of cap is connected to the ground but in the article there isn't. Actually I studied some about how Potensiometers work and I found my wiring is equal to seymour duncan diagram so I think i'm good to go.
    Thanks for input.

The difference between your wiring and the article is just the "order" of the cap and pot between signal and ground. The article shows the cap first and then the pot, you have the pot first and then the cap. The two are in series, and the order doesn't matter.
