How many different types of rosewood are their? How many are useful for instruments?

Name them... I'll post the answer in a few days.

I don't know how to set up a poll or I would... the choices would be...

    3
    4
    5
    7
    10
more than 10 less than 100
    more than 100

Thought I would ask something different than anyone else and give you some info at the same time.

  2. Are you talking about true dalbergias, or any wood with the word "rosewood" in its common name, or any wood commonly regarded as a rosewood?

Well, on Warmoth's site, they refer to a couple of different types... I'd bet there's more, but here's a good start

Yeah, true rosewoods (dalbegias) that are actually trees (vs just plants) and are cut as commercial lumber?
