Too good to be true?

    Here's an ad from bassgear.com. An "all original" 1963 Jazz Bass. Isn't the price a bit low for one of these?

  2. Maybe it's just some dad who played as a kid, got tired of it (how, I don't know), and gave it to his kid, who in turn got tired of it (like father like son?), and neither one of them has any clear idea on how much one of those babies would cost.

    You know what they say...If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...

    Besides, if what Jordan said is true...wouldn't they just put it in the local paper and why wouldn't it have the original case and why would they mention the pickguard color and why ask $1500 (a lot bigger number than the original price)?

    At any rate, it seems a bit suspect to me...
