and I didn't make a complete fool out of myself! Yee-haw! The guys (and gal) in the band actually liked it, yet I've only been playing it for a month. I thought I would have sabatoged the rehearsal by not bringing my regular bass, but it went ok. Go me!

It's hard amplifiying this thing, though. The low notes are really loud (down to a low F!!), and the highs are overwhelmed. I tried using some compression, and that helped a little. Do any of you Warr/Chapman/Mobius players out there have any suggestions or tips for amplifying these instruments in a band setting?

Bump for ya. I've been getting increasingly interested with touch style instruments (no thanks to The Power to Believe), plus you seem to have a bit of a dilemma. ;)
