I probably couldn't name 10 songs that have been in the top 40 in the last 20 years. Somehow I still get work ... go figure ... :D
  6. Yeah, it’s getting harder and harder to find current top 40 songs that aren’t heavily bass synth driven.

    Let Her Go - Passenger
It Goes Like This - Thomas Rhett
  7. if you can find actual instruments played on the top 40 tracks, you are doing well. Bruno Mars- I'd love to cover some of his stuff, but my current band, well, no way is that happening!!!

Is 2Unlimited 'No Limits' still number 1?
  11. Is anyone else playing current top 40 covers - what songs are you covering?

  12. Don't know how current these are but we have been doing Blurred Lines and Get Lucky. Both kills and zoo's the dance floor with hipsters. Guitarist hate Blurred lines because its basically a percussion and bass track but they don't mind checking out all the hot women on the dance floor during that tune.

A lot of common tunes here. We also do Get Lucky. We've recently added Thrift Shop by Macklemore & Ryan.
