    Very nice. I love Madrone Burl with a slight amber tint.

    Here's my flamed/burled madrone Curbow with a satin finish.


    I'm sure your 4 string will be stunning.

  10. Jon made the knobs himself. He'd never done anything like them before, but he's good with wood and figured they were doable. After a little trial-and-error, they came out very nice. I'm sure he can do them for you if you're interested.

    The EQ is Jon's own 3-band circuit.
  11. E-mail him and start your own, he he he. Jon's prices are pretty reasonable, even with the not-so-great exchange rate.

    FWIW, mine's amboyna burl over African walnut (dibetou), with an ebony FB over a 7-piece maple-wenge bolt-on neck.

    :eek: That's gorgeous wood!!! Uh, I just realized that sentence must be strictly used in relation to bass talk! Really, that's insane, you're inpiring me at this very moment to make my own bass in my Garage.
