Does anybody know where one can get touch-up paint for a guitar? My Fender P-bass has a couple of nicks that I'm looking to cover up. It has a Lake Placid Blue finish. Thanks!

If you can find the right color, fingernail polish is good for small touch-ups on glossy painted finishes.

Most solid and metallic guitar finishes are automotive paint. Try your local auto parts store.

This is something that has always bugged me.
Why the hell can't Fender sell small pots of "Touch up" paint? or other manufacturers come to that?
Or even better - supply one WITH the instrument when you buy it.
I would think in terms of customer "after sales" service it would be a real winner.
Ever tried to get "Candy Apple Red" in the U.K.?
You have to buy about a litre, and the price is astronomical!

Not much use for Fender owners, but Gibson do offer some touch-up paints.
