I know these topics have been posted some what before, but I'm looking for alittle more insight. I recently joined a professional heavey rock group that's looking at major coverage nationaly as well as major record labels. My situation is I'm looking for a 5 that can stand the constant gigging and plane trips. As my czech spector 5 is growing very heavy on my back and causing alot of pain regardless of strap.

I've narrowed it down to two bass guitars:

    Zon Sonus Custom 5
Sadowsky Metroline 5 P or Soapbar

I've played a Sadowsky NYC, but not a Metroline. I've also got my hands on a Sonus. I need a bass that will stand up and run all night and I know these two manufactors are top notch, just having trouble deciding. Anyone own both and can help me with some more information?

I play all over the northeast, about 160 shows a year and use only Sadowsky basses. Newstead of Metallica also uses them and swears by their reliability
