It was in the gear that was stolen and I don't know if he ever got it back. Last few times I've seen them he had a standard sunburst/tort/rosewood P bass and was using an Orange AD200/8x10.

I heard something about this with AC/DC; they had the old plexis under the stage, & all the modern marshalls up top, for show... I could be wrong though....

That's a P-bass Special. Which was an early eighties variant with active electronics, Brass hardware and several other specs copied from hot-rodded P-basses made by Charvel and Schecter among others at the time (not to mention its little sister the Musicman Stingray) They weren't around very long though.

If you find one, it DOES have good value for money.

Looking back I can't quite remember if it was bad tweeters or a pic of Stryper that ultimately led to me selling my MarkBass cabinets. Possibly both.

  7. That is one very expensive amp rig

  8. I love p-nut's rig. huge yet simple. just enough to get the job done.

Does anyone have any info on the DBA "Wizard Bass" pedal posted earlier in this thread? I'm fascinated by it and I'm not even sure what it does...

  9. ZOMBIE THREAD!

Anyway, that pedal is a fuzz with a parametric eq and a blend. The eq affects both the clean and dirty signals.
That's as far as i know, at least. :p

I'm always amazed when I see pro musicians who appear to treat their tools like sh*t. I'm surprised that this mess works without noise or other problems let along gets through a whole gig without issues.

Sorry if this has been answered previously. For the YesSongs era, I believe Chris was still using Sunn Coliseum guitar (not bass) heads with two 6x12 Sunn cabs. That's what he had when I saw yes in 1972.
