Can anyone out there tell me about the Trace 1518 Cabinet,
How does it sound compared with the SWR son Of Bertha. Which would you guys recommend. I use a G.K. 700RB Amp with a Chapman Stick Bass(8 string)

It is a 300 watt/8 ohm cab. I have one daisey'd to my 1048H trace cab. To me it sounds great, the ports can be closed or opened to change the freq response of the cab.
Do you have the older (better) one or the newer one with the red lines by the ports?

The newer one with the "red lines". Why is the older one better?
