    HI all,

I'm thinking of buying a Trace Elliot 7215 Bass Combo because my old practice amp has decided it doesn't want to work anymore!

Has anyone here used one before?

If so, are they any good?

    Thanks

  2. I never tried that model... but I did try a TE 7210 and fell in love with it. Same pre and amp, just 2x10 instead of a 1x15. The pre and amp are both good solid performers and the compressor is excellent. If you like the sound of that 1x15 I'd say go for it. Just keep in mind that parts/service could be anywhere from questionable to non-existant. FWIW you should be able to get it cheap due to the unknown future of TE.

I've never played a 7215 but I had a 715 (150W). It as a good sound but I felt the missing of middle and treble tone. Now I prefer the 4x10 plus 1x15 configuration
