BTW that was not a sarcastic comment. You have flipped so much gear over the years chasing a sound that eludes you

    Yeah I know.
I had the SMX pre, but the integrated head version is a good deal more useful to me.

  9. I would simply love this! Always wanted. Never owned. Damn, not the right time. Unless I could interest ya in a Peavey Megabass or SWR SM-400s. Heh.

Ah, need the scratch, otherwise would've kept it!

That Megabass is a nice old head though. Trade you my Crate BT-350 for it!

Both great heads. Do love the SWR stuff, damn on my account as well. On all sides. Too many toys in the world!

  12. Too many toys in the world, Count. No doubt. And wanna know a secret? They all sound identical. Identically good. Cuz the same person is always setting the controls. Heh. Just had to razz ya, Mr Bassie. Tho I'd love that, bad time of year to be buying for onesself. Luck in this sale, tho I truly wish I could. One day... Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to ya, brutha.

Lol, you know in all the years and gear I've played, I find you are exactly correct. Hands, bass. Amp does its job.
Happy Christmas, New Year to you as well my man! See you round the campus, brother.
