Picked this bass up in a trade here on TB: TRADED - Rare 90s Trace Elliot/Status T Bass 5 | TalkBass.com

This is a mid/late 1990's Trace Elliot T-Bass 5-String made by Status in England. It's an absolutely phenomenal bass and has pretty much everything I like in a 5-String (34" scale, 17.5mm bridge spacing, flattened-D profile neck, stacked single coil pickups w/active EQ, etc), but have been just playing my MM's lately, so putting it up for sale.

The bass is in Very Good Condition: top is near perfect, no buckle rash, just some scratches/scuffs/nicks on the body edges (see pics). The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent condition, the bass has very low action and plays beautifully. Specs:
    • Body: Alder, Aged White Finish
    • Headstock: ETS Ergonomic Tuning System, Angled
    • Neck: 3-piece maple neck w/graphite inserts, dual action truss rod
    • Fingerboard: Rosewood, brass side dots
    • Scale: 34"
    • Nut: 45mm graphite
    • Frets: 24
    • Pickups: Status Hyperactive Single Coils (with separate hum-cancelling coil)
    • Active electronics: Volume / Volume / Treble / Bass / EQ Bypass
    • Bridge: Individual String Retention Bridge system
    • String Spacing: 17.5mm
    • Weight: 10 lbs, 3 oz
    • Case: Protec ProPac Contego Heavy Duty Gig Bag
    • Origin: United Kingdom
Selling for $1150 shipped in the US (Fedex Ground, fully insured, signature required). International shipping is no problem, just PM me for a shipping quote. Thanks for looking!
