Trace Elliot V-Type Preamp into Crest Poweramp

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by rockabillybass, Feb 23, 2001.

  1. I recently bought a Trace Elliot V-Type Preamp. It has a single line out socket on the back. How can I connect this to my stereo poweramp, a Crest V1100, so that I can use both channels in stereo with my 4x10 and a 1x15 cabs?

Is it possible to use some sort of "Y" lead?

I'm having to biamp through a crossover at present but would prefer to go full range.

The Crest does not have a parallel mono mode. Bridged mode is no good due to impedance of the cabs being below 4 ohms.

    Any help appreciated
