Hi i own a 300w trace 1x15 bass combo. i really love it but i would like to buy an extra 2x10 cab. I would like it to be from trace, but the only one they offer is 200w and it says it impedence is 8 ohms. i don't know much about impedence but on the speaker output on the back of my combo it says min load 4 ohms. does it matter that i am sticking a 300w what amp into 200w cab, and does this impedance mean anything? If you could help that would be great

    Thanx sam

The Trace combos typically have an 8-Ohm load for the speakers inside, so combining with an 8-Ohm external cabinet will give you a 4-Ohm load which is fine. As far as power goes you shouldn't have any problems as long as you don't push the amp really hard eg. to the point where it clips. Enjoy.
