Tracking down a bass?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Journey55, Oct 7, 2013.

  1. Anyone got any tips for trying to track down an old bass? I traded away a bass I liked a lot in January and I posted a craigslist ad in hopes that the person would like to trade/sell it but anyone else got any ideas to help track it back down? Thanks!

First, contac whoever you traded it to and see if they will sell it back toyou. If they no longer have it, ask if they can tell you who they sold it to. If it stayed local you might have a chance finding it with detective work. If it went on eBay you probably won't find it.

The good news is that unless it was custom, vintage or rare you can likely find something pretty close if you are patient. Good luck!
  3. Good news, I found it and the guy is up to selling it back.
Bad news, I gotta sell some stuff (like my amp head and bass) but I've got a $300 gc gift card on the way so I can use that to buy another amp head (probably smaller now haha)

Even better news, I got it back and I got a telecaster to match!
