The thought of trading this bass recently made me think again about playing 5 strings.... Usually about once a year I try to play a 5 and it never seems to work out for me. This bass is so far the best 5 string I've owned it actually being the fifth in 6 years. I really need another 4 to tune differently for a band I'm working with. But....If I don't trade this it won't kill me to keep it.

This is a great playing, great sounding, and great looking bass. It's in perfect shape except for a scratch on one of the tuners pictured below.
    The details...

    Carvin Icon 5 String
    5 piece maple/walnut neck
    Birdseye Maple fretboard
    Abalone dot inlays
    Quilt maple top w/matching headstock
    Dunlop strap locks
    Sunsetburst finish
    Carvin SP2 Soapbar p/u's
    Around 9.25 lbs.
    Hardshell case w/tools
Have about $1600 in this bass.

I'm primarily looking for 4 string basses in trade. I'm open to just about anything. I'd go for another Carvin but would be specifically into Carvin Icon 4, BB4, or AC40

    Throw anything by me.

We've seen a fair amout of snow this year. I don't mind it but a lot of people seem to.

If I had to put a price I'd say ?$950?

Very nice, especially with that maple board.

Now get that thing inside - it's freezing out there! :D

    Hey XED,
I just realized you're the guy I messaged about your BRXNeo10.2. Great cab. Thanks for the info.

  14. Your welcome. Going through a gear changeup myself. Want to go 34". Also thinking of going back to 4 string myself. Gonna see if I can let go of my LeCompte. Wish I had the money for this bass though, Just bought a B800. This would add nicely to my Carvin rig.

It's 35" but you wouldn't know it because of the neck profile. The neck is really thin, front to back, and transitions to flat right around the 9th fret. The graphite rods in the neck allow it to be thin and still really stiff.
