i'm sure that some Music Man and some Parker fans will find this some sort of sin. I'm looking to trade a mint Sting Ray 20th anniversary (deeply figured maple front and neck) upgraded with Norstrand Alnico PU and a 3 band Aguilar preamp for a Parker Fly. The retail for these limited edition basses looks to be between 1600 and $2000....about what used Parker 5s are going for.

The bass is a few specks shy of new condition (it's spent the majority of its life in storage). I'm looking for a Parker (4 or 5) in comparable shape.

The MM plays great and sounds exquisite but the lightness of the Parker is the right prescription for a bit of back trouble I have.

The bass comes with its orginal MM molded case.

    Any thoughts?
