I'm trading a pretty expensive gaming laptop ($1000+) since I don't game anymore, so I thought I barter it for a bassa and amp! Again, I know the trade might not be worth my money, but I don't mind. Here are the offers so far, tell me what you think because a second opinion can't hurt.

fernandez bass with 200 watts amp:

    the amp:

Then there is the Squier P-bass (eww?) by Fender and 15 wats fender amp

    And amp:

By the way, what are fernandez bass because I googled them up and got very little information. Are fernandez known for good quailty?

The fernadez bass with the 200 watt amp is worth about $200-$300 used. The Squire P-Bass and 15 watt amp is worth about $100-$200 used.

Man you would get rocked on that deal... In bass aspects you should trade the laptop at around $1000 for:

    - Fender Made in America P or Jazz bass
    - Warwick Corvette or Thumb Bolt On
    - MusicMan Stingray not a SUB or Stearling
    - Schecter bass + combo amp from SWR or Hartke

Look into ebay and find what basses go for and then use that as your calculations.

Dude, seriously....if you can sell your laptop for what you think it's worth, you can get a WAAAY better bass AND amp. Fernandes basses aren't too bad, but I'm not so sure about the one in the pic. Try googling "Fernandes basses" instead of spelling it with the Z at the end.

    Anyway, that's what I'd do.
  5. I think you could do a lot better.

Pony up for a TB membership, and list it on the non-bass related listings. Is your lap-top an Alienware?
