I'm trying to sell my zoom b3 pedal and I got a local trade offer.
The guy sent me a picture of his sansamp bass driver , bassballs nano, steel leather, and soul food pedals and asked if I am interested in any of them. If it were to be your only pedal besides a tuner, which would you ask for?
He didn't specify only one -- a distortion/overdrive plus the bassballs might be pretty cool. Assuming my band gets back together after our lead singer recovers, could I use this combination to cover some synthy parts from the pop songs we do?
However the Sansamp is pretty practical. I use IEM's and could skip bringing an amp for certain situations.

I use a GK backline 600 head and I have two different cabinets.

If it was my only pedal, I'd choose a preamp or a compressor. From the options that he gives you, I guess I would go with the sansamp BDDI. It gives you a great tone even if a bit mid scooped, you can get a gritty sound with it and you have the D.I. option.

I've never played a B3 but I own one of the MS series...and honestly I wouldn't swap out the versatility of the Zoom for any of those.
