I did what I think is the correct math to figure out transient response for both the eminence 3012lf and S2010 drivers. They look really close. Would I be correct in saying this?

I like the responsiveness of the 3012lf but, was thinking about about building my own 2x10 combo using the s2010, someday.

The mathematical transient response at low frequencies is simply a function of the transfer function, so if the LF response curves in whatever boxes you're using are identical, then so too will be the transient response. The rest of the transient response is a lot more complicated!

What are you hearing that you thought might be optimized or resolved by the calculated transient response? What audible problems are you trying to remedy?
