Traveler Escape Bass

    I Got to play one of these for the last couple of days.

    It's a pretty fun short scale bass. Great for, well, travel. Not as a primary instument though. It's not that good. It reminds me of playing a smaller Steinberger Spirit.

    Actually sounds pretty good. Much better than I expected. It uses a Shadow pick up and pre-amp. Never heard of them before.

    It's a pain in the butt to tune. Getting used to the weird tuner placement isn't easy and the bass doesn't stay in tune as well as a regular bass but it works none the less.

    I'm considering buying one since I will be traveling on business several times this year.

    Just wondering if anyone in here has tried one or better yet owns one.
