    Hi guys,

I have a quite simple question. Im really considering buying a Strandberg Boden 5 I tried in a shop.
The thing is, I will have to frequently travel abroad for gigs and rehearsals.
In other words I'll have to take the plane.

I don't think there is any flight case that suits this bass due to its special shape.

Buying a seat for the bass would be way to expensive.

Do you have any idea or already faced this issue?
Honnestly it might prevent to buy this bass even if Im really into it...

    Thank you in advance!

gebass6 We're not all trying to play the same music.

Strandberg doesn't make a case for their own bass?

Unfortunately, I think they just propose this:

And it is only for guitars!

Will your bass fit that configuration?

I mean the bass version of that configuration.

Im not sure this flight case exists with bass dimensions!

  7. Is the bass short enough to go in the overhead bin? I have a headless Roscoe bass that fits in a guitar gig bag.

I Don't think the cabin crew would let me get in the a luggage of this size!

Maybe I found Something, since I have a Mono vertigo M80 bag, I could put the Bass in and then use this case:

I just hope the Mono vertigo M80 bag can fit in!

Let me know if you guys had experiences using a such case.

    Thanks in advance!

I think I've seen a thread here on TB that lists the bags that fit in the SKB Bass Safe. Seek and ye shall find (maybe). :)
